Access to your order data from a PC, tablet or Smartphone is now widespread, well-established in everyday life and often taken for granted in every working environment. The glass sector has not yet fully adapted to these practices and Optima has tried to fill the gap and lead the way for the glassworks of the future. In this context, we have created a simple and intuitive WEB application that guarantees privacy and data security and allows two levels of iteration:
• Web-Orders: offers the display of the progress of orders in production, the history of previous orders, bills, invoices and PDOs with the possibility of downloading courtesy copies in PDF format directly from the portal and in a totally autonomous manner.
• Web-Quotes: allows orders or quotations to be entered directly from the WEB portal. The management of these orders is based on an advanced configurator that allows the use of shapes, the addition of specific processing or the use of pre-existing BOMs.
Web-Orders and Web-Quotes are WEB applications that are independent from the Enterprise management system but are connected to its database for reading (to read the order status) and writing (to enter quotes).
Orders placed with Web-Quotes are sent directly to the Optima ERP, which processes them and calculates the price (not available in the WEB application), thus relieving employees of the work of manual entry.
An advanced access control system ensures that each user, be it an administrator, an agent, an employee or an end customer, has access to a limited number of data for viewing, editing or inserting: agents, even multi-firm agents, can see orders placed for their customers, employees of the glassworks can have full access while the individual end customer is granted access to data related only to the master data linked to them.
