Specific management for the delicate cutting phase
Line Manager consists of a cutting monitoring station installed near the cutting table. It is designed for the integrated management of complete cutting lines with loaders, automatic breaking and display systems (Re-Opt, Defect-OPT and TV-Way), waste storage and sorting systems.
It is the perfect supervisor able to synchronize the on-board machine applications in the “Industry 4.0” context, operating on work lists prepared by the office, receiving the cutting information directly from the cutting table and transmitting everything to the office management system.
Using the Line Manager workstation, the cutting line operator can view the batches prepared by the office, obtain information on the quantity of sheets required, the relative formats, the data on the pieces to be produced, the number of racks required and the number of free positions (slots) within the sorting system, if present.
For each work order, the planned start date, the planned cutting sequence and the presence of urgent parts or rework are clearly indicated.
Line manager is able to automatically control the HMIs of the cutting table and of any automatic storage and receive feedback information on the progress of the cutting process.
If a quality control scanner or an MES station intervenes to indicate the need to carry out a restoration, Line Manager interrupts the cut and, using the optional Re-OPT module, can carry out a dynamic optimization from that particular point in the batch onwards, inserting the urgent glass to be restored into the first useful sheet.
The use of a monitor on the cutting line shows the cutting plan always up-to-date with indications regarding the stand or slot the glass must be unloaded.
